Jaycee Affiliates
Junior Chamber International (JCI): One of the biggest worldwide youth service organizations. It is an international community of citizens between the ages of 18 to 40 with the aim and purpose of creating positive change in the world.
JCI USA (US Junior Chamber): A leadership training and civic organization for people between the ages of 18 and 41. Areas of emphasis are business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections.
Virginia JCI Senate: The Virginia JCI Senate is an organization of Jaycees and former Jaycees who have been awarded membership in the Senate of Junior Chamber International. A Senatorship is the highest award that can be presented to a Jaycee at the local, state, national or international level and less that 1% of all members of our organization receive this recognition. Programs the Virginia JCI Senate support include First Timers (specifically driven for first-time members at any Virginia Jaycees meeting) and Return the Favor (providing assistance to local and state Jaycee organizations).
Life Member Association: A life membership in the Virginia Jaycees is the highest honor which can be given by the state organization. Its mission is to support the Camp Virginia Jaycee, maintain the Virginia Jaycee office building, aid the Virginia Jaycees, and promote fellowship among its members.
Virginia Jaycee Foundation: The Virginia Jaycees Foundation is a 501(C)(3) Corporation established to support the Community Development efforts of chapters that make up the Virginia Jaycees. The Virginia Jaycees Foundation also supports Individual Development projects, such as the quarterly compettions sponsored by the Virginia Jaycees. It is able to accept donations that are considered charitable contributions. Chapters that are a member of the Virginia Jaycees may request support from the Foundation in the form of a grant, matching grant, or flow through account.
Jaycee Ambassadorship: Since 1976, Junior Chamber chapters in every state have recognized their finest members by presenting them with the prestigious Ambassador honor. This life-long honor recognizes those who have served the United States Junior Chamber and their community with highest distinction and greatest contribution. Thank that special individual for their outstanding service, involvement, and commitment by nominating them as an Ambassador — the highest honor bestowed on a Jaycee.
